This I don’t agree with. I mean yeah, maybe if the kids knew their parents wouldn’t help them they would be safer. You are you seriously telling me that if your child got pregnant/ or got someone pregnant, you would just throw them out on the street to fend for themselves? You are throwing your grandchild out into a world of what? What is out there for the teenagers to give theirs child with little education, money, food? I mean seriously if you throw your own baby out into the world, how healthy is that baby going to be? The mother won’t have proper health care, or a healthy diet. So even though it’s not your “mistake” (mistake is used simply for a lack of a better term) it’s still your life. I know for me personally I couldn’t live with that.

Whose fault is it?

First with this link I want to say that I am NOT bashing teen moms. My mom was married with two kids by the time she was 19. All I am trying to say is with these girls 13-16 having sex and getting pregnant. You are just a baby yourself. How do you expect to raise a child on your own with our economy the way it is today ? This link gave many of the same answers to the question asked. Most of the answers were “the media” and “the parents” Those are good explanations but … what about the teenager herself? Isn’t she responsible for being sexually active and getting pregnant?

Today I was sitting here thinking … Why are there so many teenagers who get pregnant? Other than the obvious reason. Are they not educated enough? Or do they just not care? Do they think they’re being safe? Or do they simply think they are ready for a child? So I began searching google for these issues. I came across this link and was shocked. I mean I knew teenage pregnancy was high … but at this rate? Wow. I mean seriously 820,000 teenagers in the united states get pregnant each year. That’s a ridiculous amount of our youth having children.
